One owner- me..yes that’s right, my very first guitar…How beautiful it is.. Never ever played so nice a guitar among hundreds and hundreds over my 55 year playing career. It has been all over the US. The Rico input is classic Beatles. Now I know why you’re wondering and asking why I installed a humbucking pickup in it…because I wanted to. I was a little fella, 16 years old and really couldn’t hold a Les Paul all night, more so, the pickup was a lot lot less expensive than another guitar. Now, I love a Gibson guitar And have owned many different times. This Rickenbacker has not been played on stage in 45 years. I have had it in storage ( climate controlled of course at home) but at my age now I probably will not play it anymore. I could not ever sell it due to wanting to Will it to my son, but, he doesn’t want it. He’s a movie director in LA, not a musician. Go Figure?? It is ONE OF A KIND , I don’t believe there’s one exactly identical in the world..Could be, but probably not.. I will add that it does need a little adjustments on the bridge, but that’s it. So there you have it, lock stock, barrel. One last thing, the case is the OHSC, as you can see Don’t balk at the price, just buy it!! Now I’ve received several comments about the price and the pickup comparing it to the “mint” conditions of others for sale.. But, given the many many of those mint condition ones, their “ NOT” like this one. It only takes one bidder who enjoys different! Moreover, the intrinsic value of this guitar is in and of itself due to its uniqueness. Happy Trails John 3-16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
