Up for auction today is a project guitar I’ve been holding on to for awhile. In it’s current state, it’s pretty much a kit with high quality hardware. It was a salvage guitar from a show where the original owner smashed it and snapped the neck off at the end. Since it was just left on stage, I picked it up and decided to try and fix it up. I believe the original guitar was a Scheckter Blackjack C6 FR with mahogany body and maple neck. Due to it’s original state, it left the guitar up to many possibilities for its repair and i began purchasing the parts needed to make it look like a left handed Jeff Loomis Signature. I ended up buying a real lefty Jeff Loomis and have since decided that due to time and interest, I would need to let this project go. The neck pocket needs a but of work, and I have a scrap piece of mahogany (not pictured) that will need to be used as a transplant for extra support. The original pocket from the factory had alot of glue, which actually helped keep the neck joint in pretty good shape even though it was snapped off. This is however going to need some attention in repair. The body itself has alot of dents and dings that are easily repaired by some bondo, epoxy, or even lacquer by anyone who has some time. I will be including Set of Jeff Loomis signature pickups ($150) Floyd Rose Special with stainless steel screws ($100) Custom Fretboard with Jeff’s Celtic Cross Inlay ($100) Black Groover Tuners ($45) Black Assorted hardware It will be shipped out in a well packaged schecter box with all shown parts included. Please let me know if you have any questions.
