I bought this guitar new a little less than a year ago and it has very little and light home playing time. The color was listed as See Thru Blue; however, it looks more like Black Aqua. The colors are very similar and you can make you own determination from the pictures. Let me begin by saying that I have perfect feedback since 1999, which includes the selling of guitars. Having said that, I believe you could hang this guitar on the rack at a retail store and sell it as new; however, I also know there are some folks who are very finicky about their guitars. I have viewed this guitar under various lights at various angles and can only see some various light surface markings that are unable to be photographed. Nothing that may be felt if that helps. I really hate to even call them markings, but for lack of a better term that’s what I’ll go with. Some people would not notice them and others may look their nose down at the guitar. If you are looking to purchase this guitar and then examine it using a microscope so you can point out every fiber and mark, then please do not bid. However, if you are looking for a beautiful guitar to play that is no longer being made then I would encourage you to bid. I do not wish to sound like a jerk but I know how some people are with guitars and I do not want to get into a situation where someone is looking for a museum piece. If you want a brand new guitar out of the box, then go and buy one. But I would bet that it would be very similar to mine. Case has a small tear and some scratching from being behind the couch, some of which I have photographed; but isn’t that what cases are for? All latches work perfectly and it is fully operational. Includes key, tool, and fretboard cover. Setup and 10 gauge Cleartone strings are as they were from the factory. Anything you see in the photographs is dust or glare. These are awesome high quality instruments, I just prefer unfinished necks. I understand what it is like to buy a guitar you have not seen and have done my best to alleviate any concerns.
