Hello and welcome to The House of Chrome. You are looking at a 1960’s era E.V 423 A microphone desk stand. This is an all aluminum stand with a satin chrome finish and polished chrome stem / riser. This model was widely produced by Electro Voice during the 1950’s through 1970’s. As you can see the stand thread itself is universal and any mic will technically mate to the top of it. This particular E.V stand has typical wear as you can see. Some scuffs, lite pitting and scratches but no dents. The chrome stem is very good. Please let the detailed pictures be your guide. All 3 original rubber pads are included and will keep the stand from scratching any surface it sits on. Mic stand is appx 3 1/2 inches tall X 5 inches wide. The short stance of this stand makes it extremely stable and can be used on small, medium and larger mics. These stands are becoming harder to find every year and there is quite a demand for them. I can’t seem to hold on to these for more than a couple weeks. It compliments any microphone that sits atop of it for sure. I’d give the stand a true 7 on a scale of 1 – 10. The threading is the universal 5/8 threading so any American screw on microphone will work with this stand. MICROPHONES SHOWN ON STAND ARE NOT PART OF THIS SALE…USED FOR DISPLAY PURPOSES ONLY.
