Vintage 1970's Electro Voice 423 A microphone old stand midcentury Turner EV # 1Vintage 1970's Electro Voice 423 A microphone old stand midcentury Turner EV # 1

Hello and welcome to The House of Chrome. You are looking at a beautiful 1970’s era E.V 423 A microphone desk stand. This is a painted all aluminum stand with an Atlas GN-6 (6 inch) flexible gooseneck riser. This model was widely produced by Electro Voice during the 1950’s through 1970’s but this is the late 423A model. As you can see the stand thread itself is universal and any mic will technically mate to the top of it. This interesting set up allows you to angle your mic if needed due to the gooseneck. The GN-6 is quite rigid and won’t bend unless you force into the angle you want. This particular E.V base has extremely lite wear as you can see. No scuffs, pitting or dents. Just a couple tiny scratches on the top of the base. The GN-6 stem is excellent. Please let the detailed pictures be your guide. All 3 original rubber pads are included and will keep the stand from scratching any surface it sits on. Mic stand is appx 7 inches tall X 5 inches wide. The threading is the universal 5/8 threading so any American screw on microphone will work with this stand. I would rate the cosmetic condition of this stand a true 8 on a scale of 1 – 10.
