I have for sell an original vintage 1957 Gibson Les Paul Jr.. No cracks, no breaks, no damage to body, no repairs, no refinishing. Only lots of normal wear from many years of playing. Plenty of buckle rash. Back of neck the finish is worn to the wood in center. Only pitting on fretboard is on first 4 frets. The inlay dots on fret 5 and 9 are missing. Other than that the fretboard and frets are in great shape. The tuners were replaced a few years ago with exact parts (Kluson Deluxe). The jack plate was also replaced at the same time with a metal/chrome model. I have the original tuners and jack plate which can be included if wanted. This is a players guitar and really shows it. The sustain is very long and holds the sound. Volume and tone knobs are both original and have no issues. The quality of the sound is just what any true musician would want. It is all here and plays like a champ. I need to thin out my herd and want to sell this to someone who wants a quality vintage guitar. This LPJ would not win a beauty contest and I’m not going to try to fake anyone out. The bumble bee capacitor is in place and has not been fooled with. No rewiring or messing with the volume or tone pots at all. The neck is straight and the action is nice and light. Plays like a dream. By the way I threw away the original case several years ago thinking it was a piece of junk. I was very sorry to find out years later that it was the original. I will ship in a good hard shell case for stability and safety of the guitar. Also, as an added bonus to the lucky buyer…I will throw in a new set of D’Addario EXL120 strings and a pack of new picks so you can impress your friends within minutes of unpacking the axe. Slash, I know you need another vintage LPJ for your collection and here it is ! I SHIP TO CONTINENTAL UNITED STATES ONLY !!! Please reply with any questions. Thank you for your interest !
