The Egmond model 3V was built in Holland by Dick Egmond and company around 1965. Egmond guitars were more popular in Europe than in America as in the early 60s few American made instruments were available to that market. This model 3V clearly took its inspiration from the fender’s jazz master and jaguar. The body of the guitar is wood covered in red vinyl. It is lightweight and sports three fine sounding pickups. The neck is kind of chunky, the frets are small like many instruments of that period and the guitar plays phenomenally. It has a whammy bar that’s stays in tune nicely.
